During the Three Minute Thesis Competition at Université Laval, Farouk Hammami won the People's Choice Award ($250) for his presentation entitled "Making profits through bids in transportation". Farouk's research work is supervised by Monia Rekik and Leandro C. Coelho.

Several GERAD researchers appear in a ranking of research citations created in August 2021 and published on the Mendeley website, a search tool belonging to Elsevier, the Dutch scientific publisher.

The Faculty of Business Administration of Université Laval awarded this year to Leandro Callegari Coelho and Monia Rekik, from the Department of Operations and Decision Systems, the research medal. They have distinguished themselves by the national and international influence of the results of their research. The award of a medal is based primarily on publications in internationally recognized research journals that have a formal and rigorous peer review process.
